Best price around for our project, Ok maybe it's not always about the price. We shopped the other guys who advertise on FB and found them to be pricy, and you must pay their outside contractors to install it. Our city permit guidelines for any patio cover attached or detached requires no combustible materials may be used in building a patio cover with a BBQ under it, unless it has an approved super fan vent above it, or the BBQ would have to be built outside the footprint of the patio cover. Now we have every intention to build an amazing outdoor kitchen which would include a large BBQ, and a built-in flat iron grill as main cooking appliance.
We live in a very high fire zone so getting this right is important. We wanted a gabled roof, not just a flat roof, and being on the north side of our yard we wanted to have natural light into our home. Other important needs, we already had a 20' wide by 25' deep slab poured so we wanted to have as few support columns as possible. The max Vergola could go was attached to the home and out 25' which was perfect. 4 louver motors so we can control the direction of the sun, and a minimum 10' high. Wind guests in the foothills can be strong so the patio cover needed to be proven to handle strong winds. Vergola's structure is all steel and louvers are a fiber steel. We went to their location in Gardena and Paul demonstrated the system and showed us the fabricating facility. We signed up with Vergola and they handled the rest. Plans, permits, and after about 3 months installation was completed by their own installers in a week. It was easy and they met our expectations.
Our next steps will be fireplace, TV, grills, side super burner, flat iron, sink, and lots of countertops will make this a high value outdoor kitchen that I will pay off when we go to sell our home, in fact better than a pool, this will likely get all my money back and more when we sell our home. Vergola product and install experience exceeded my expectations. Communication regarding install dates and changes was not good, thus the 4 stars over all. Calls and emails went unanswered, especially as I advised dates we had to be away for travel and could not do an install.
Install team- Dwayne, Glenn, Edwin and Antony were professional, expert, respectful and easy to work with, and they cleaned up at the end. No hesitations having these guys install any time, any where. Overall, we are very happy with this louvered roof product, it works well and looks great, just be ready to have to work hard to get them to advise about install schedule.

Vergola turned our new patio into a great place to entertain. Our new pergola makes it easy for us to block the sun in the heat of the day without making the back rooms of our house too dark.
